Single Jersey Fabric is one of the most widely used knitted constructions for T-shirts and lightweight apparel. It has a smooth face and a visibly different reverse side. Single jersey describes the knit construction, not the fibre composition. Manufacturers can produce it using 100% cotton, combed cotton, polyester or suitable cotton-polyester blends. Therefore, its feel and performance vary according to the fibre, yarn, GSM and finishing process.
